We are looking for an innovative, detail-oriented self-starter with proven abilities to conceptualize, design and execute for both print and online projects — plus have experience in pre-flighting files for commercial printing. Candidate must have a strong command of typography and layout, be able to produce accurate work on tight schedules, and be comfortable multitasking.
The Project Coordinator position requires a highly organized and detailed individual with a proven ability to process work accurately and efficiently. In order to do such, the Coordinator must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Project management is a key skill that is necessary for the Coordinator to be successful. Specifically, the Coordinator must be a self-starter in all aspects of the position by driving the schedule of each campaign whether for direct mail, digital or telemarketing. At the Project Coordinator level, you must be able to work independently and collaboratively to execute multiple projects on time and within budget.
The Project Coordinator will learn to work within and understand each tool Nexus Direct has implemented (specifically project management software – training will be provided). In addition, this person must have experience working with Excel and Word.
The Direct Mail Print Buyer is responsible for developing strong vendor relationships and managing the purchasing of direct mail materials for Nexus Direct and its clients. The Direct Mail Print Buyer is also responsible for meeting purchasing objectives, negotiating best costs, seeking cost savings opportunities, planning and managing the print production for every direct marketing project. Industry knowledge of direct mail print is a must. Additional lettershop experience is preferred. This position requires high energy, assertiveness, creative problem solving, good judgment and initiative.
This individual will work closely with members outside the production department, such as Account Services, Creative, and Quality Assurance.
The Accounting Specialist position requires a highly organized and detailed individual with proven ability to process work with accuracy and the ability to work with minimal supervision and to make appropriate decisions. This person will work directly with the Director of Finance and provide support in three areas of focus: Finance, Human Resources, and Office Administration including but not limited to the following: assisting with AR/AP, Financial Reporting, Month-end Reconciliation, Closing, time-sheet management, employee benefit programs, Assist with hiring, meeting management, office supplies, office maintenance coordination, IT support/coordination, answers phones, and other related duties as needed.
