Thanksgiving Baskets for Edmarc Hospice
Our annual tradition of giving Thanksgiving baskets to Edmarc Hospice for Children makes our hearts smile. The mission of Edmarc Hospice for Children is to ease the trauma of a child’s illness or death, and to reduce the disabling effects of pediatric illness, loss, and bereavement on families in the Hampton Roads area. We’re proud to be able to support this vital organization in our headquarters community.
Slice of Life at Food and Friends
Our Washington D.C. area clients recieve tasty pies as a Thanksgiving treat that help provide nutritious, home-delivered meals for people with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
Phonebanking at WHRO
The Nexies turned out in force to staff the phones during a recent WHRO pledge drive, raising more than $7,000 in pledges and contributions. We had a great time supporting public broadcasting.
